Leviathan is an ancient beast of the seas, originating from Jewish folklore and different versions of Christian Mythology. They are also the first entity to be known as a leviathan, a title also taken by many other large and powerful sea monsters, such as the Kraken, Cirein-cròin, Hafgufa and Moby Dick.
